Urology-Trained NP or PA — Richmond, VA Practice
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of an experienced urology APP for East Coast Urology Practice
Richmond, VA was a historical hot spot of patriotism during the American Revolution. Flash forward more than 200 years, and today’s Richmond is more than just a commemoration of the past. Its high quality of living is driven by excellent schools, affluent neighborhoods, and a host of recreational activities — central to the nation’s capital, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Virginia Beach — creating an exciting future in this star-spangled metro. And if you are a urology-trained NP or PA, then you will thrive working with Richmond’s practice of 32 urologists serving four hospitals, all located within 20 minutes of one another. Surgical training, though not required for this position, would be a plus.
Richmond’s history is colorful, and your future here is bright. Your new employer is offering these fireworks:
- an annual salary of $100K–$125K, based on experience
- a signing bonus
- a relocation allowance
- medical, dental, vision insurance; 401(k) and profit sharing; paid vacation; sick time; holidays and more
- and an annual CME expense reimbursement up to $3K
And even more glorious, the practice is staffed by engaged providers who are committed to providing high quality care, and dedicated to providing a rewarding workplace making a positive impact on the community. A healthy work-life balance is valued, with an efficient model where you’ll be involved in a wide range of cases with great opportunity for sub-specialization.
Richmond is known for its great food, and even the dining here is a reminder of the city’s role in American history. Thirteen presidents have graced the elegant halls of the 122-year-old Jefferson Hotel, where the posh Lemaire now serves local fare such as rabbit raised on Virginia farms, oysters straight from Chesapeake Bay, and over 200 offerings from its wine list. Deep Run Roadhouse competes with Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue to see which of the two will go down in history as having the most succulent southern cuisine. Boulevard Burger & Brew revives a 1950s burger stand listed on the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places, but its menu—featuring organic Black Angus beef, veggie burgers, and toppings such as kale, goat cheese, and wasabi aioli—is anything but old-fashioned.
Perhaps the secret to Richmond’s longevity is its incorporation of change. Scott’s Addition, a once-industrial area now turned social hub, is growing like a colony of British settlers distancing themselves from the king. With more than 20 restaurants and bars to choose from and 13 beverage producers that include breweries, cideries, meaderies, and distilleries, residents find easy refreshment during a day of shopping, bowling, watching movies, or carousing like the Continental Army at the shuffleboard bar. And each year, Richmond hosts Riverrock, the sports and music festival with something for everyone. Stop to catch some live music in between adventure racing, paddling, yoga, climbing, slacklining, and more. Or just watch these amazing feats while sampling a spread of food truck cuisine that shows just how far America has come since the first Thanksgiving (which, as every Virginian knows, was celebrated at the nearby Berkeley Plantation in 1619 and was not about food at all).
History repeats itself. Richmond is chosen over and over again as a great place to settle. Contact Kara Savvas today at 512-422-2788, and send your CV to email@example.com to find out more.
